Endoscopy

Endoscopy is the procedure of visualizing internal structures through a flexible tube, the endoscope. The use of endoscopes allows the detection of multiple lesions, such as ulcers, polyps, or tumors and the detection of bleeding sites. With the use of endoscopes, it is also possible to collect tissue biopsies and perform various treatments, namely removing foreign bodies, polyps, among others.
