The home visit consultation is carried out at the patient’s residence, where the veterinarian assesses the state of health, advises, and treats to meet a need for basic care. In more delicate cases, it is recommended to come to the clinic, as other means may be required for diagnosis and treatment.

Other veterinary procedures can also be performed at home such as vaccination, deworming, health certificates, among others.
